Accelerated ACLS Renewal

This course is designed for those healthcare professionals who possess a current ACLS card and would like to renew their ACLS card in a minimum amount of time. There will be no lecture or review. This accelerated renewal course will focus entirely on evaluation so students need to come prepared to perform two minutes of adult BLS and apply an AED (checklist), manage a ventricular fibrillation or pulselesss ventricular tachycardia arrest scenario, and the care of the patient experiencing bradycardia and tachycardia dysrhythmias (checklist). The written exam will also be given. If you use your ACLS knowledge on a regular basis and would like this opportunity to be evaluated and have your American Heart Association ACLS card renewed quickly, this is the course for you. Students who come unprepared will be asked to re-register, with the usual fee, for the full day renewal or two day provider course.
