This ACLS Renewal course is designed for healthcare professionals whose occupation requires proficiency in ACLS skills. This course is only appropriate for healthcare providers with a strong background in cardiac rhythms and medications and who use ACLS on a regular basis. Registrants must be current in ACLS (cards must not have expired) and come to class ready to have their skills evaluated. If your last ACLS card was not issued by Carlson Consulting Group, a copy of your card must accompany your registration. Current BLS / CPR skills are required. An ACLS Provider card will be issued after successful completion of the stations in this course. The course will consist of a series of teaching / evaluation stations including airway management. Cardioversion / defibrillation, arrhythmia management, pharmacology, and a written evaluation.
